Dune-du-Nord Wind Farm is the company that operates the wind farm for the duration of the supply contract (SCC) signed in 2018 with Hydro-Québec. It is made up of two partners.

The Eastern Energy Alliance brings together two hundred and nine (209) local communities, whose territory is included in that of sixteen (16) RCMs as well as the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation (“PNWW”), in order to ensure and increase the participation of communities in renewable energy projects in Eastern Quebec for the benefit of its citizens and the Quebec energy transition (the ” Alliance”). As a partner of choice for the realization of wind and solar energy projects, small hydroelectric plants or energy storage, the Alliance, or its members, are important equal partners in four (4) operating wind farms with a total installed capacity of 327 MW as well as in seven (7) new projects totaling approximately 1,426 MW.

Gilbert énergie

A joint venture founded in June 2023 by the Nutrinor cooperative and the Gilbert Énergie company, Nutrinor-Gilbert Énergies renouvelables focuses its activities on the development of renewable energy projects, including in the wind energy sector.

As part of the Dune-du-Nord wind farm, Nutrinor-Gilbert Énergies renouvelables, via its subsidiary Valeco Gestion et Service, is co-manager for the development, financing and operation of the wind farm and holds 50% of the capital.
